These are shots of Old Hilliard from earlier this evening. Without the flash the pictures are sort of yellow looking. With the flash the snowflakes look as big as my head.
Ah well. It was rather peaceful and pretty despite my inability to catch it.
They’d predicted 3 to 5, and then I heard 4 to 6, inches of snow starting Friday. There was supposed to be some freezing rain mixed in.
I awoke Saturday to rain (and with a song in my heart … you thought I was going to say morning-something, didn’t you?) and a sheen of ice on the (really sweet) mini-van.
Snow started falling just a little bit ago.
Love the photos, especially the first one.
The snow? Not so much … we have a ton of our own here in Michigan … want some?
So telling with the photos, one without flash and one with the flash…. seeing what parts get captured by the flash and what parts blend in.
I love watching it snow. One of these days, I need to find a way to capture the nighttime snow without adding or taking away from the effect.
Snow is so pretty… I need to go take my some winter photos.
I love the last two! I like looking at other people’s snow:) And I’m so happy that the mini-van is still really sweet:)
Nancy: I sometimes feel bad (but just a little and only for a second) complaining about our snow when I know other folks get a lot more of the stuff.
Marty: I took a stroll at lunchtime today and used your ice-safety tips.
Nat: It does look rather nice. Especially in modest amounts.
Becky: Most times I prefer looking at other people’s snow over snow of my own. This bit was about the right amount.
