Repost: Nobody works a buffet like a Baptist

I am Delmer, the writer of the blog.

Diane is my wife. She's a Canadian. (And I write as if I think that gives me special permission to talk about the Great White North as if it were a younger sibling to the US.*)

We do not yet live together as we're waiting for Canada and The United States to let us know they're cool with us cohabitating.

The Chidren... there are eight of them.

(*I think this is even more OK as I typically write as if my American readers have no idea where Canada is. Aside from Britney Spears, NASCAR fans, and Miss America contestants I’m certain most Americans know it’s that big blank area that’s at the top of those maps of the US you can buy at Shell. For the record, Canada is less blank than those maps would have us believe.)
