I wanna be like you-oo-oo
Haydn played King Louie in the eighth-grade version of Jungle Book. I grabbed the camera I normally take biking with me as I'd forgotten one of its problems is that it won't read memory cards.
So, I only had enough time to catch a snippet of Haydn's song.
You can't tell from the video but the boy is wearing the biggest smile. He's truly a ham.

hahaha. Cute!
I didn't realize his voice would be deeper than I had thought. Not sure why I thought that, he is a teenager after all.

I wish I had the bit before he started singing. During his speaking part he deepened his voice, for effect I suppose, but is unable to sing in that range.

Ginger: The boy has confidence that knows no bounds ... and he's a good kid to boot.
Liv: He is adorable, isn't he.

He is obviously having a great time (which makes it all the more fun for the audience)! Hope he keeps it up...

3 of my kids were just in the same play a few weeks ago! Mine had small background parts, which was fine with me...I get so stressed and worried before their plays!

Heather D: He is a big ham. I'm guessing this won't be his last play.
RGT: I started with the same worries I'm sure you have. After he spoke his first words I was at ease. I don't know why I was worried ... (see the 'ham' reference above.)
